About the Project 

A cafe works when people want to stay a little longer than they planned. That was our thinking at Billy Bunter's Cafe, where Dilaawar Interiors designed and built the complete interior, from the layout and custom furniture to the lighting and final finishing. 

We wanted a space that feels warm and lively at the same time: deep blue upholstery, rich wood tones, textured walls, and glowing copper pendant lights that set a cozy mood from the moment guests step in. The goal was a place where good coffee, good food, and good conversation come together naturally. 

Our Approach 

A cafe has to work for many kinds of visits: a quiet coffee alone, a lunch with friends, a long evening catch-up. So we planned the seating in different styles, with comfortable sofas and armchairs, intimate tables, and open areas, to give guests a choice of how they want to sit. 

Our team crafted the furniture ourselves and paid close attention to lighting, since it shapes the mood of a cafe more than anything else. The glass frontage and the upper level add depth and make the space feel inviting from the street. Because we handled both design and execution, every finish was checked on site, from the first layout to opening day.

Billy Bunter's Cafe was a fun project for our team, because a cafe is a space where the design is really felt by people every day. Seeing guests relax, talk, and enjoy their time there is what makes the work worthwhile.
