About the ProjectÂ
A good hotel room should let a guest put down their bags and relax straight away. That was our starting point at Indigo Heights, where Dilaawar Interiors designed and built the hotel room interiors, including the custom woodwork and handcrafted furniture.Â
We worked with a deep indigo and dark wood palette, soft layered lighting, and clean lines. The idea was to create a room that feels sophisticated but calm, with every piece of furniture earning its place.Â
Our ApproachÂ
In a hotel room, every square foot counts. The bed, desk, seating, storage, and TV unit all had to fit together without making the room feel crowded. We planned the layout carefully so guests can move around easily and find everything where they expect it.Â
Our team crafted the headboard wall, wardrobes, desk, and media console in dark wood, then paired them with upholstered armchairs, soft furnishings, and warm bedside lighting. Because we handled the design and execution ourselves, we could keep the finish consistent across every piece, from the first sketch to the final handover.Â
What We're Proud OfÂ
- Handcrafted furniture made specifically for the roomsÂ
- Custom woodwork with a rich, refined finishÂ
- A cohesive indigo and wood palette that feels elegant and restfulÂ
- Smart space planning that balances style and everyday functionÂ
- Warm, layered lighting for a comfortable ambienceÂ
- End-to-end execution by our own teamÂ
Closing NoteÂ
Indigo Heights shows what we enjoy most about hospitality work: making a small space feel generous, comfortable, and well considered. It was rewarding to see the finished rooms ready to welcome guests.Â
Incredible Result
The completed campus gives CMH Medical College spaces that students and faculty use every single day. The library has become a calm place for long hours of study, the hostels and sitting areas give students room to rest and connect, and the auditorium and offices support the academic work of the college.
Because the same team handled design and execution across every facility, the campus feels consistent from one building to the next. Many years later, the furniture, finishes, and layouts continue to serve a busy institution, which is the result we care about most.
